🪔 On this most auspicious occasion of Welcoming Prince Siddhartha, devotees sincerely offer lamps and flowers before the Buddha, generating exceptionally vast merits.
🪔 Offering lamps symbolizes the light of wisdom, dispelling the darkness of ignorance and illuminating inner awareness;
🪔 Offering flowers represents purity and adornment, increasing blessings and wholesome affinities, and bringing about gentleness in body and mind, with dignified and graceful appearance.
With a single moment of sincere devotion before the Buddha, through offering lamps and flowers, one can eliminate karmic obstacles, transform afflictions, and accumulate the provisions of merit and wisdom.
