💫 Introduction : The Liang Huang Repentance, Scroll Seven — Food Offering
With a pure and sincere heart, offering food can eradicate past evil deeds and karmic obstacles, bringing peace and ease to body and mind.
⭐ Merit Verse:
I respectfully make delicious offerings to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, may I be well-fed and well-clothed in every lifetime, forever free from hunger and suffering.
With wondrous food, may I always dwell in pure lands.
With various delightful tastes, may I always receive the nectar of the Dharma, and perfect blessings and wisdom.
May these offerings be made universally to all sentient beings, that we may together enter the path of Buddhahood.
⭐ Dedication of Merit:
May the merit of this food offering be dedicated to all sentient beings throughout the Dharma realm.
May their karmic obstacles be removed, and may they be free from suffering and attain happiness.
May all their wishes be fulfilled, and all their aspirations be accomplished.
May we all realize Bodhi together and ultimately attain Buddhahood.
💫 Donor’s merits: merits accumulated from making the altar offering to the Buddha will be dedicated for bliss and wisdom to be obtained.
