October 2026 Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's Ordination day (19th Day Of 9th Lunar Month) / Three-Day Sutra Recitation & Prayer Puja
💫 Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's Ordination day falls on the 19th day of the 9th lunar month.
BW Monastery will conduct a series of Sutra Recitation and Prayer puja from 24 to 28 October 2026. Through prostrations, the recitation of Mahayana scriptures and the Buddha and Bodhisattva’s sacred names, we sincerely pray for the removal of obstacles, the growth of blessings, and liberation from suffering.
💫 All devotees are warmly invited to participate according to their affinity and rejoice in these wholesome practices. May the merits of the Sutra recitation, repentance practice and all virtuous deeds be dedicated to all sentient beings, praying that karmic and health-related obstacles may be removed, that all may enjoy physical and mental well-being, increase in blessings and wisdom, and experience peace and auspiciousness within their families.
💫 May the merits of the repentance practice, Sutra recitation, recitation of Guanyin Bodhisattva’s sacred name, and all offerings be dedicated to all sentient beings throughout the ten directions. May all be free from suffering, calamities and obstacles, enjoy good health, and increase in blessings and wisdom. May Guanyin Bodhisattva’s compassionate blessings and protection bring peace, auspiciousness, and the fulfilment of wholesome wishes to all devotees and their families.

★ As a safety measure, all light offerings will be placed on the open-air altar at the back of the monastery.
★ All amount collected will be used to support and sponsor the event such as meals and beverage, utilities and ancillary expenses. Name of donors will be acknowledged and displayed during the event.
