💫 Offering the Buddha’s Golden Alms Bowl
The compassionate Buddhas of the ten directions accept offerings in an alms bowl, enabling all sentient beings to cultivate blessings and plant virtuous roots, thus achieving great wealth and prosperity, and abundant food and clothing in successive lifetimes.
From the Lalitavistara Sutra:
“If you offer the alms bowl to the Buddha, your wisdom will grow. You will experience joy in successive lifetimes and soon attain Buddhahood.”

May I be born into noble lineage and flourishing families in successive lifetimes, with a strong and healthy body, noble and pleasing countenance, joyful spirit and clarity, and great bliss and longevity. In every lifetime, may I take birth into the family of Dharma kings and achieve great spiritual progress, quickly attaining the fruition of Buddhahood for the benefit of all sentient beings.
