🏮 Lighting a lamp daily as an offering to the Buddha. Merits of offering light: Clear and healthy eyesight in every rebirth; gaining the divine sight; discerning good and evil teachings; dispelling darkness; attaining wisdom and intelligence; always being born in bright, auspicious realms; receiving great blessings; obtaining a higher status rebirth; swiftly attaining Buddhahood
💫 Benefits of Offering a Lotus Lamp
🏮 The monastery will acknowledge all offerings by preparing a blessing plaque with the donor’s name and hanging it beneath the lotus.
🏮 During the monthly Great Compassion Repentance puja, offerings and prayers will be made in front of the Buddha, with the merits dedicated as follows:
“May family members be blessed with peace and auspiciousness; body and mind be at ease; longevity be granted with abundant blessings; illnesses, karmic obstacles, and vexations be eliminated; rebirth in happy realms, enjoying prosperity, abundant resources, and dignified appearance, pleasing to all beings. May you encounter the Triple Gem every lifetime, increase in blessings and wisdom, and swiftly attain Buddhahood.”
💫 Monastery will acknowledge all donations by:
☘️ Donor’s names will be written as inscription and hung below the lantern.
☘️ Merits accumulated from Great Compassion Repentance Puja and vast offering to the Buddha will be dedicated to donors to seek blessings and eliminate calamities: Safety, peace and auspiciousness for the family, healthy body and mind, longevity with increased bliss, elimination of sickness and karmic obscurations, and afflictions, Rebirth in happy realms, prosperity and wealth, abundance of clothes and food, dignified appearance delighting everyone upon sight, meeting the Triple Gem directly every lifetime, increase in bliss and wisdom, to swiftly attain Buddhahood.
