2026 Ullambana Grand Puja
The Ullambana Festival is an important period where Buddhists recall the kindness of ancestors and cultivate filial piety towards all beings. (Read more about the Ullambana here!) .
From 27 August to 28 August will be reciting Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Repentance every night, and on 30 August (Completion day) will devoutly practice The Ullambana Sutra.
Merits accumulated from recitation of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Repentance (All 3 scrolls) and The Ullambana Sutra, Offerings to Buddha and Sangha, all rituals to seek blessings, for departed loved ones, etc, will be dedicated towards:
🌼 elimination of obstacles and obscurations, eliminate calamities for longevity, healthy body and mind, successful career, increasing wealth, prosperity and honour, all matters auspicious with increasing bliss and wisdom, meeting the Triple Gem life after life, develop spirit of enlightenment to attain Buddhahood.
🌼 All karmic obstacles to be eliminated, free from sufferings, swiftly receive the compassion, care and guidance of Amitabha Buddha, be reborn in Pure Land, learning the perfect teachings and attain Buddhahood.
🌼 Dissolution of karmic obscurations and vengeance, enmity with karmic debtors and creditors to be resolved, free from sufferings, swiftly receive the compassion, care and guidance of Amitabha Buddha, be reborn in Pure Land, learning the perfect teachings and attain Buddhahood.
