⛲ Medicine Buddha or Medicine Master Lapis Lazuli Light Tathagata- the healing King for elimination of calamities for longevity, made 12 great vows in the eons a long time ago. If one upholds the thought of Medicine Buddha, and rely on the power and virtues of the vows for blessings, one can be free from all worries and troubles, equip with perfect senses, dignified appearance, abundance of resources, free from disasters, etc. and attaining liberation, perfecting Buddhahood and reside in the pure world of Lapis Lazuli, which is magnificent and no difference from the western Pure Land.
