2025 Offering to the Heavenly Realm

According to the records in the Golden Light Sutra, various heavenly beings aspired for the spirit of enlightenment during the Golden Light Meeting and followed the orders of the Dharma King to keep watch over the human realms, in order to reward the virtuous, and punish the non-virtuous. 

The Golden Light Repentance Ritual for offering to the Heavenly realm, which was put together by the Senior Sangha Council, has been used for several hundred years by various monasteries when holding the Pujas for offering to the Buddha and Heavenly realm. 

During the puja, there would be recitation of sutra, repentance practice to offer the the Triple Gem in the 10 directions, to protect the world, Heavenly beings and their fellow protectors. 

The puja is beneficial in eliminating negative karmic deeds, increase in bliss and longevity, while seeking blessings for the country and its citizens to have peace and safety, and a stable society.
