While facing the severe test of the epidemic, under the leadership of the wise government, it is a great blessing for the whole nation to work together and survive the difficulties safely.
BW Monastery upholds the compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, resolutely shoulders the heavy responsibility of relieving the people's worries. During the epidemic period, our venerable Sangha community were blessings the infected people together with their relatives and friends at the online pujas. In addition, an efficient C-19 Taskforce has been set up timely, delivering herbal tonics to infected students and their families daily.
Most of our full-time volunteers were mobilised to contact and take care of the infected families. Up to April this year, there have been more than 4,000 beneficiaries. This extraordinary act of benefiting the people and giving back to the community is based on the generous support and donations of the public.
After the epidemic eased, BW Monastery has reopened, welcoming devotees from all walks of life to visit. The monastery provides a variety of offering items, to enable our honorable devotees together with relatives and friends, through the wealth and respect of the offering accumulate merits, pray for the blessing of future life, and eventually become a Buddha at an early date.
