DBC - The Blissful Fortune 108 Lights

A. Introduction: As living beings have various afflictions (totaling 108 afflictions), we are reborn in the cyclic existence, going through limitless sufferings. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have eliminated each and every affliction, purified their minds and become the reliance for all beings. 
“I will offer the 108 lights for myself or loved ones, sincerely seeking for Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva’s blessings and guidance, eliminating all the afflictions in my body and mind, diligently cultivate, increase bliss and wisdom, purifying the 108 afflictions, having wisdom life after life, not falling into the 3 miserable realms, eventually attaining unimpededness and freedom. ” 

B. Donor’s merits: merits accumulated from supporting the monastery to propagate the Dharma to benefit all beings, will be dedicated to sponsors. 

C. In return, monastery will be:
🪔 From the beginning of the puja, Sangha and all volunteers will be reciting the 6-syllable mantra for the sponsors and offer the 108 Lights, for sponsors to have peace, safety, happiness and wisdom.

🪔 Dedication of merits from 1 Oct 2023 Great Compassion Repentance Practice 
🪔 Dedication of merits from 1 Oct 2023 Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Repentance Practice 
🪔 Merits accumulated will be dedicated to the ones seeking blessings for: healthy body and mind, all sickness, karmic obscurations and afflictions to be eliminated, for all matters to be auspicious, increase bliss and wisdom, and swiftly attain Buddhahood.
